Early elementary has my heart and I am especially committed to helping K-2 students master important foundational skills. </p> <p>After a fulfilling 30-year teaching career, I retired in 2022. My career included two decades in first grade, along with experience in second, third (2 years), and fourth grades. During my final six years as a full-time educator, I transitioned into the role of K-2 media coordinator. About Full SPED Ahead: <p>Heather Cacioppo has been in the field of special education for 13 years. She has primarily worked with middle school and high school multi-needs life skills classrooms in both public and private schools. She also was a <strong>Curriculum &amp; Assessment Coordinator and Instructional Coach</strong> at a private school for autistic learners for nearly 3 years.</p> <p>Many of her resources support learners working on <strong>pre-K to 2nd grade level</strong> materials.
