About Shanon Juneau We Are Better Together: <p>My name is Shanon, and I'm the face behind We are Better Together! I have 22 years of experience in education. I taught 1st grade for 12 years, taught middle school ELA, was an administrator in a K-8 school, and also worked as a Technology Facilitator for our district (teaching teachers how to incorporate technology into their classrooms). My bachelor's degree is in 1st - 8th, and my master's degree is in educational leadership. I've also spent the last 13 years creating educational resources for my classroom, my district, and for teachers around the world. </p> <p>I've been teacher of the year twice, LACUE teacher of the year for our zoned area (technology), and worked on a federal grant that brought in $100,000 to our school to get Activboards into every single classroom. </p> <p>I love everything about incorporating technology into the classroom to make learning fun! So you can only guess that when I found Boom Learning, I was in LOVE!</p>

About Minds in Bloom: <p>Rachel has taught students from grades K-8. As a classroom teacher, she taught mostly highly capable third and fourth graders, often creating curriculum to meet their needs. She has also taught technology and science to multiple grades. Rachel is a published author of more than 120 nonfiction books for children on a variety of topics. She has also written 10 teacher resource books for Evan-Moor including the <em>Critical and Creative Thinking Skills</em> series, a set of 6 books that she developed for the publisher. In addition, many of her task cards were used to create Kagan Publishing’s <em>Quiz, Quiz, Trade</em> series. Rachel holds a BA in Developmental Psychology from Western Washington University where she also earned her K-8 teaching certificate. <br /> <br /> Cassi is a highly experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching under her belt. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and a masters in educational leadership, and has specialized in upper elementary education, serving as a classroom teacher and instructional specialist. Cassi has won numerous awards, including Teacher of the Year, and has dedicated much of her career to professional development. Her passion for teaching is matched by her love for incorporating technology into the classroom.</p>

About Cardigan Speech: <p>My name is Andrea and I have been a school-based speech and language therapist since 2010. Populations include primarily special education self-contained classrooms in addition to general education students.</p> <p>In addition to school-based speech therapy, I have also been doing PRN in the medical setting since 2011. </p> <p>I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, a Master's in Speech Pathology as well as a Master's in Special Education. About SLP Story House: <p><b>I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2006. I work at School District #23 in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. I have a special interest in oral language and literacy development. I marvel at the many oral language comprehension and word recognition skills that are required for skilled reading and they are depicted so well with infographics such as the Scarborough's Reading Rope.</b></p> <p><b>I also love using the Story Grammar Marker® approach in my therapy sessions because it has been a tool to expand my students' oral language comprehension, oral expression, reading comprehension, and writing. I created Story Grammar Marker® BOOM</b>™ digital <b>stories because I wanted to have a user-friendly collection of go-to stories differentiated at each stage of narrative development that were easily accessible to SLPs, reading specialists, classroom teachers, teacher assistants, parents, and other professionals that could be used with individuals, groups, and classes in all tiers of instruction. </b></p> <p> <strong>In 2016, I started collaborating with Mary-Ellen Rooney Moreau (the creator of the Story Grammar Marker®) and Sheila Moreau from Mindwing Concepts, Inc.
