About me: <p>👋 Hi! I’m <strong>Rachel Markfeld, M.S., CCC-SLP</strong>, a speech-language pathologist and creator behind <strong>Northport Speech Therapy</strong>. I received my master’s degree in speech-language pathology from <strong>Gallaudet University</strong>, a Deaf university known for preparing professionals to work with the <strong>Deaf and Hard of Hearing population</strong>. I also hold my <strong>TSSLD certification in New York</strong> and have been working with <strong>children with special needs for over 15 years</strong>.</p> <p>Since <strong>2020</strong>, I’ve been creating <strong>Boom™ Cards</strong> that support <strong>language development, auditory training, and sign language skills</strong> for students with diverse communication needs.
