About Rachel Markfeld SLP: <p>👋 Hi! I’m <strong>Rachel Markfeld, M.S., CCC-SLP</strong>, a speech-language pathologist. I received my master’s degree in speech-language pathology from <strong>Gallaudet University</strong>, a Deaf university known for preparing professionals to work with the <strong>Deaf and Hard of Hearing population</strong>. I also hold my <strong>TSSLD certification in New York</strong> and have been working with <strong>children with special needs for over 15 years</strong>.</p><p>Since <strong>2020</strong>, I’ve been creating <strong>Boom™ Cards</strong> that support <strong>language development, auditory training, and sign language skills</strong> for students with complex communication needs. About Speechie Witchie: <p>Courtney is a licensed pediatric SLP practicing since 2016. After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, she also completed post-graduate courses in Dysphagia and Counseling. She is trained in the PROMPT Method Level 1 and has attended introductory workshops and trainings on DIR Floortime, Sensory Integration, Executive Functioning, and the Multisensory Approach to Reading.</p> <p>Courtney has experience working in hospitals and in the academe as a clinical supervisor, but has found her passion in early childhood development, working with families in the private setting.</p> <p>Speechie Witchie was born during the pandemic as a tale of resilience and passion towards continuing children's learning of communication through the fun of interactive activities and the magic of short stories. ✨</p>

About Winter Sisters: <p>Monica Winter, Bilingual English/Spanish Speech Language Pathologist and Behavioral Analyst. I have been working on the field for over 24 years. Received my degree in Argentina, and revalidated in the USA, obtaining my New York State License as a Speech Language Pathologist, and Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) with a bilingual Spanish Extension. In 2016, I also obtained my Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Most of my experience has been with preschoolers in the last few years. My sister Diana Winter de Fontes, is my favorite Graphic Designer (yes, a little biased) She helps me design the decks, Diana has been working as a graphic designer/illustrator for the past 25 years and more. She also works as an elementary art teacher and is a Pro at creating materials to help children expand their abilities.</p>

About Suddenly TeleSLP: <p>Welcome to my Boom store. I began practicing speech therapy in 2002, working in hospital-based settings, public schools, and private practices. When the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, like many others, I found myself thrown into telepractice. Thankfully, I discovered Boom Learning. I began to adapt my physical materials to digital, and my library continues to grow despite the return to "normal." In 2022, I began teaching in a private preschool, and while I do not currently engage in direct practice, I maintain my license and certification as a speech pathologist through continuing education. Throughout my career, the majority of my clinical work was with neurodivergent learners (ADHD, Autism, 2E, social learning differences, and other neurodevelopmental conditions). You'll find that many of my materials are geared toward neurodivergent students.</p><p>While supporting neurodiversity is my passion, I also found it fun to create engaging and entertaining articulation and phonological production games. If you browse the articulation tab of my store, you'll find hundreds of games from digitally adapted versions of classics (bingo, checkers, dots and boxes, four-across, Sudoku) to original games I've created that address speech-sound production. There are only so many times you can use flashcards or play "go-fish" before you lose the motivation of the client. Kids LOVE the games in the articulation section, and you'll find plenty of freebies so you can explore the game before purchasing.</p>
About 1st Grade Pandamania: <p>Hello Boom Learning Friends! I'm Joyce Oberg, M.Ed., a retired 1st-grade teacher with 32 years of teaching experience in grades 1-6. Although guided reading is my passion, I enjoy all aspects of elementary education. I hold a BA in Elementary Education for grades 1-8, as well as a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My husband, Steve Oberg, M.Ed., is also a retired educator with over 30 years of experience in teaching and administration.
