About Speechie Trish: <p>Trish Friedlander is a trained, licenced and certified speech-language pathologist and has worked in the field for over 25 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Ithaca College in Speech Pathology, a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from Georgia State University and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Plattsburgh State University. She has been trained in Natural Language Aquisition and gestalt language processing in addition to childhood apraxia of speech. She also has vast experience with augmentative and alternative communication. She is currently providing in person and tele-therapy services for children in the Early Intervention and Preschool programs in New York State. She has a private practice and provides speech and language services in elementary schools, preschools,, daycares, homes and in clinics as an itinerant speech language patholigist. She also provides trainings to other professionals regarding communication disorders and langauge and literacy. About Sandy Robinson: <p>I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist (MS, CCC-SLP) since 1997 and a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS, Cert AVT) since 2005. I have worked primarily in pediatric settings (schools, outpatient clinic, private school for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children) since my graduation in 1997. Since 2011, I have worked in a major pediatric hospital outpatient clinic as an aural habilitation specialist on the multidisciplinary cochlear implant team. I enjoy making materials that are interactive, fun, and engaging. Therapy should be fun!</p>

About David Sindrey: <p>David Sindrey was trained as a Speech-Language Pathologist and has worked as a certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist for the past 25 years. David is an internationally renowned speaker with over 140 presentations to date across the US, Canada, and South and Central America. He worked living in Mexico from 2009 until 2015 at the clinic he and his wife Sandra Medina operated, Oigo Clínica de Enseñanza of Querétaro. Mr. Sindrey has also worked for the Mexican Department of Health at the launch of their universal infant screening program, training therapists from each of the 32 Mexican states. David has published numerous workbooks and resources to help children of all ages learn to listen. He is both the author and illustrator of the material he produces. Some of those include Listening Games for Littles (1997, 2002) and the Cochlear Implant Auditory Training Guide (2004). Mr. Sindrey has also developed several online resources including the the ListeningRoom at Advanced Bionics, Speechtree, Listeningtree, and Actividades de Audición for Programa Infantil Phonak in Spain. His listening activities have been translated into Dutch, German, Spanish, and French. Since 2012 he has designed and illustrated 7 apps on iTunes that help develop and/or assess listening skills for children with hearing loss. Mr. Sindrey is currently a lecturer in the department of Speech-Language Pathology at Western University in London Ontario Canada where he lives with his family. About boxarain: <p>I am a speech language pathologist working the public school setting in New York. The materials I create are mostly geared toward the older student but are often appropriate for students of all ages. I am also the developer of educational apps for the iPad (Clue Catcher: Strategies for Using Context Clues and Clue Catcher: Idioms & Expressions) and the author of The Big White Hen (A Clue Catcher book). In addition to my position as SLP in a high school, I also teach in an accredited speech language graduate program and provide clinical supervision there.
