Second Grade Smiles

About me: <p>Hello! I'm Amanda, the teacher-author behind Second Grade Smiles. Although I currently work supporting teachers in grades k-6 as a literacy coach, I am fortunate to have taught second grade for eleven years prior to taking on this role. I also previously taught first grade. As a classroom teacher, I supervised student teachers and mentored new teachers. I also recently had the exciting opportunity to co-teach a graduate-level course at a local university and look forward to continuing to share what I have learned about teaching and learning in this capacity in the future. I love creating engaging Boom Card decks and look forward to sharing them with you!</p>
