If you would like to have a scaffold to assist students with their irregular plural nouns vocabulary, this deck will be helpful. So many English nouns are irregularly spelled so it's easy for early learners to get confused. The more exposures to correctly spelled irregular nouns the easier it will be for students to recall them later. The simple layout is predictable and reassuring for reluctant learners. There are two word choices on each slide in this deck. Students choose and click the one they think is correct so it's easy feedback. I like that they can go back and redo the slides for practice. Use this deck as part of early morning work, in your literacy block, or as part of independent work. Students can extend the learning by keep a running list of irregularly spelled nouns on their laptops or notebooks. Use this for small groups, especially your English learners who might need more guided practice along with this deck.
