About me: I have taught since 1978 in both Christian and public schools in my five licensed areas: art, English, elementary 1-8, reading K-12, and ESL K-12, which is clearly my absolute favorite area! I love teaching English learners! I am now retired after nearly 40 years but still advocating for English learners with my resources. I grew up as a fourth generation English learner so those students are near and dear to me! I completely understand that those students need to have support that they might not receive in their homes due to language barriers. I was the only ESL teacher in my building so I serviced all grades K-5. Such a broad scope of levels has allowed me to understand and publish items that would work for many students at a variety of levels. During my 20 years with a homeroom, I was awarded Ameritech grants on two occasions for multicultural units. My master's+ degrees are for English language learners TESOL endorsement and a reading masters endorsement. I publish decks for grades pre-school through grade 8. The subjects I include are, classification, grammar, vocabulary usage, nonfiction comprehension, math, and occasional science themes. My favorite decks to create are nonfiction topics from many areas around the world which I embed into many of my decks.
