Your ESL students will have fun reviewing vocabulary for talking about people at school with this engaging picture crossword. They will identify the following words and spell them correctly: bus driver, coach, cook, janitor, librarian, nurse, principal, secretary, student, teacher. The focus on jobs that people have at school would make this activity suitable for back to school, Labor Day, or career day. I created this crossword for my own students, who are learning English as a foreign language in elementary school. They need to learn vocabulary and spelling, but they also love to play. Word games like this one allow them to do both!
