About me: Hi, my name's Lauren. I create materials for young English learners that connect with their interests, identities, and imaginations. I hold a master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a California teaching credential in English, Spanish, and French with authorizations in ESL and bilingual education. I've been teaching for more than twenty years in a range of settings, including public elementary and secondary schools in California, USA, and Madrid, Spain. I currently teach after-school English classes to children in Madrid. In addition to my teaching and writing work, I've supported fellow educators over the years in the roles of Senior Teacher, California BTSA Support Provider, Director of Studies, and (currently) Madrid Area Coordinator for TESOL-SPAIN.
