Description: This deck was created to provide information about turkeys and the turkey life cycle to primary students. They will learn about the four stages (egg, poult, young turkey, and adult turkey). They will learn about turkeys as living things and as part of the bird kingdom. Audio support is provided as well as alt text. The Deck: - Slide 1 is a diagram of the turkey life cycle in color. - Slides 2 and 3 provide pictures and information about the reasons turkeys are living things. - Slides 4 and 5 provide pictures and information with reasons turkeys are birds. - Slides 6 - 9 provide pictures and information about the egg stage. - Slides 10 - 15 provide pictures and information about the poult stage. - Slides 16 -20 about the young turkey stage. - Slides 21 - 25 about the adult turkey stage. - Slides 6, 10, 16, 21, and 23 show a large picture and description of Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4. - The other slides provide smaller, colorful pictures with information that is provided with audio support if needed. - A Wh- question follows the passage and audio is provided. - There are three answer choices (audio provided). - Your students will click on one of the three answer choices. Slides 26 - 30 - Your students will identify each stage following a description. They will click on the picture of the stage of a turkey after the description.
