Description
This classic Fairy Tale is great for retelling, attention to detail, identifying characters, and so many other reading skills. Students will hear a traditional telling of this folk tale with interactive prompts along the way. This version uses a pig, cow, and horse along with the old woman and old man. After the story concludes, students will be quizzed on details from the story as well as questions about characters and the main idea. Students practice spelling the CVC word "run" from the story. They will also practice some phonemic awareness, paying attention to the recurring rhyming words in the main characters' teasing chant. All slides have auto-play audio, and this deck utilizes accessibility text.
