About me:
I am a retired teacher with a BS degree in Elementary Education and an MS degree in Master Teaching. I hold a Lifetime Certification for grades K-8. I now have fun creating resources at Boom Learning, which has become a rewarding passion. I spent most of my 30 years teaching first grade & Kindergarten, so I create most resources focused on my areas of expertise:) I have always loved using and creating interactive, fun & inspiring resources.

I have resources for Science, Social Studies, & Health that focus on Informational Text Comprehension. I have many early reading skill decks focusing on letter identification, phonics, rhyming, Phoneme Sound Fluency, Letter Naming fluency, as well as practicing rhyming skills, syllables, and sight word identification. I have a large series of beginner readers geared for Kindergarten and early first grade and/or remedial students. One of my favorite subjects to teach was math. I have quite a few decks on number identification, writing numbers, identifying numbers, and counting sets. There are special decks for introducing math skills, math sense, understanding more, less, and equal, as well as ones for extra practice of skills already learned. I have many decks for shapes, symmetry, and measurement. Some of my decks are for special days and holidays, which often motivate our young learners to love coming to school!

All my decks have audio, most have auto-play audio, and all new decks have accessibility text for students who need it. I continue to update old decks when able, to make use of accessibility text technology.
