Description
The 40 Fruit and Vegetables task cards provides a fun, interactive, vocabulary building activity for ESL, EAL, ELL, EFL, ELD students who are initial learners of English. This is a great resource for distance learning because it is a self-correcting resource, providing students with instant feedback. Some younger native English speakers and students with special needs might also benefit from using this resource. The cards have pictures of either a fruit or a vegetable. Each cards has two pictures, one is a clipart version of a fruit or vegetable and the other smaller picture is a photograph. A selection of answers is provided. Students look at the picture then click on the name of the fruit or vegetable. If the answer is incorrect, it will be surrounded by a red circle with a line. If the answer is a correct, the word will be surrounded by a green circle. When the student clicks on the correct answer, the next task card appears automatically.
