Description: Practice finding the main idea with this engaging escape room type resource. Students will complete 8 clues to help the fish escape the shark. Each card contains a nonfiction passage about sharks. Students will read each passage, then select the main idea. As students answer the clues, they can cross out completed clues with the draggable x's. Students must answer clue 8 correctly to determine what will scare the shark away. Incorrect answers will lead to a "try again" card. Correct answers will lead to a "correct" card. This will help students track their answers. There are 8 passages/questions in this deck. This deck also has engaging sounds to get students really involved in the ocean and shark theme.
