Hands on Learning

About me: My name is Christen! This is my 10th year teaching and I am passionate about helping ALL students learn! Meeting students where they are and seeing them grow is a passion of mine! My decks will have unique features that make them accessible to multiple abilities and as well as being interactive. As a graduate of Georgia State University in 2014, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of schools and levels. I graduated with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I have taught grades 3-5 both general eduation and co-taught special education. I have been a department chair and part of many curriculm groups as well. I also have young children, so I have made many resources this past year catering to younger grades as well.
