Description
If you are interested in helping your students learn to identify point of view in fictional selections, this deck will be helpful. I added audio directions. It has sample selections that will convey first, second, or third person narrative. It will assist students in knowing how to identify the literary devices of first, second, and third person in fiction. It's perfect for middle school learners to better understand an author's perspective and what the author wants readers to understand about their writing. It helps to know point of view to better understand how authors develop characters. This leads to better understanding of plot as well. Use this deck prior to studying any fictional selections to help students understand how point of view affects the tone and attitude of the reading as well as the author's character development.
