Description: Poetry Boom Cards includes 26 interactive, self-checking task cards that can be used to review, practice, or assess understanding of eight commonly-used poetic devices. These digital task cards are perfect for classroom use or for distance learning at home. There are two versions of this product, one with audio (this one) and one without audio. The decks are similar, but the cards in audio deck include a sound icon in the upper left corner that students can click if they want to hear the words on the card read aloud. There are three Boom cards for each poetic device: one definition and two different examples. The 26 cards will be presented in sequential order starting with the eight definition cards. Those will be followed by 16 examples of figurative language for students to classify.
