Laura Candler

About me: <p>Laura Candler has 30 years of experience as an upper elementary educator. Now that she’s retired from the classroom, Laura enjoys writing books and creating educational resources for elementary teachers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education with a minor in science education, as well as a Master of Arts in elementary education. Before she retired, Laura obtained National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist, and she was the recipient of a prestigious Milken Family Foundation Educator Award in 2000. Laura is the author of 10 print books for teachers, including 6 books published by Kagan, and she has self-published hundreds of digital resources for teachers including over 150 decks of Boom Cards. Her website, Laura Candler’s Teaching Resources, has been a source of inspiration for educators for more than 25 years!</p>
