Description: Parts of the Water Cycle Level 2 includes 24 interactive, self-checking Boom Cards to help students deepen their understanding of the parts of the water cycle, including precipitation, condensation, evaporation, transpiration, accumulation, and runoff. The first six cards are review cards that define those terms and show an example of each process in action. The remaining cards show examples of the parts of the water cycle in everyday life. The review cards will always be presented first, followed by the example cards that will be shown in random order each time the deck is played. Science note for the teacher: Evaporation and condensation are sometimes confused because water often evaporates first and then condenses when the water vapor comes into contact with something cool. One way to remember the difference is that evaporation is invisible while condensation results in the formation something visible. We can't see the process of water becoming water vapor, but we CAN observe the process of water condensing into droplets of water.
