Classroom Vocabulary with sound is a great purposeful activity for new arrivals who are at the initial stage of learning English. Students click on the targeted word (which is in large bold print) to hear the spoken word, then look at the choice of the pictures of three items. He or she clicks on an item, if it is correct, a green circle will appear with the sound of a bell, if it is incorrect a red circle with line will appear. When the correct picture is clicked, the next task card appears automatically. Your students will enjoy this relaxing activity while learning a set of essential vocabulary for school. This is also a valuable resource for teaching reading to native English speakers and possibly helpful to some students who have special needs. There are 36 task cards.
