Description

If you want a resource to expand student's vocabularies with words that are similar to each other, this one will help with that. Each slide in the deck has a small selection for students to read with an underlined word. There are three words for students to try to match the words with shades of meaning. All they need to do is to select the words they think best matches the underlined words. Not only are students finding words with shades of meaning. They will also learn some history about how many countries observe the change from spring to summer. Use this deck during your literacy blocks or as a springboard for further research. You and your students will enjoy the self correcting slides!
