This deck includes 35 digital, self-checking, interactive cards that can be used to review and practice basic area and perimeter concepts using customary measurement units. These Boom Cards can also be used for assessment. There are 35 cards in the deck, but only 20 will be shown during each round of the game unless you change the default settings. There are two versions of Area and Perimeter Boom Cards, one with audio (this deck) and one without. Every card in this deck has a sound icon in the upper left corner that students can click to hear the words on the cards read aloud. The cards use three answer choice styles: fill-in-the-blank, multiple-choice, and true-false. They also have varying levels of difficulty, but if you decide that some of the cards are too easy or too challenging for your students, it’s easy to hide them by using the Custom Play Settings before you assign the deck.
