32 unique cards; all cards randomised per play. Audio instructions play for the first two cards. "Drag the anchor from the note on the staff and drop on the correct piano key to match this landmark note, then click the green submit button." At the top is a single pitch on a grand staff. The note values used are: semibreves (whole notes), dotted minims (dotted half notes) minims (half notes) and crotchets (quarter notes), but time values are never mentioned, so this deck can be used in any English speaking country. At the bottom is a 3-octave piano keyboard with Middle C labelled. The red anchor will snap back into place covering the note if not placed in one of the drop zones (white piano keys), but the note will never move. The idea of finding the right piano key for these "anchor" or "landmark" notes is truly important in navigating pitch to keys, and finding one of these notes first will be the grounding stepping stone to finding nearby notes as well, always using Middle C as the ultimate safe harbour. Complies with audio and visual accessibility, but not motor accessibility. This deck is not suitable for play on smaller devices, such as iPhones. It is best played on an iPad, a desktop or a laptop.
