Description
This interactive speech therapy activity on Boom Learning™ targets /kr/ and /gr/ blends through two engaging arctic-themed articulation games. Students interact with a playful moose while practicing target words hidden under objects in the snow. Activity 1 – Feed the Moose (/kr/ blends) Students drag twigs to feed the moose and reveal /kr/ blend words hidden underneath. A fun crunching sound effect plays when the moose eats the twigs. Activity 2 – Moose Tracks (/gr/ blends) Students drag the moose to make him walk across the snow, then look under the moose tracks to reveal /gr/ blend words. A snow walking sound effect plays as the moose moves. These activities also allow practice contrasting voiced and voiceless cognates (/k/ and /g/) while targeting cluster production.
