About me:
Hi, I’m Shelly, an ASHA-certified and state-licensed speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP) with nearly 30 years of experience supporting communicators from preschool through adulthood. I have worked in public schools from PreK through high school and currently serve school-aged children and adults in private practice.

I’m a play-based SLP who creates low-prep, high-engagement therapy materials designed to make sessions easier and more effective. My resources include embedded visual and auditory supports and use consistent, predictable structures across themes so students feel confident, successful, and ready to communicate.

As the parent of a multimodal communicator with severe apraxia, I design every activity with accessibility, flexibility, and real-life communication in mind. I believe communication begins with connection, intention, and play.

2020–21 Governor’s Educator of the Year Nominee
Proud mom of a future SLP—my daughter is following in my footsteps!

Education: Holy Cross • Syracuse University • UConn

R.
