Younger students often have difficulty discriminating between /g/ and /k/ when identifying sounds. This deck provides practice for students who need to review beginning sounds for words beginning with the letters g and k to help with identifying letter sounds, decoding, and spelling. Audio and alt text are provided. Your students will view a cute, colorful picture. They will listen as the word is stated. They click on the letter for the beginning sound of the word, which will be g or k. RF.K.3.A Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.
