In this interactive speech and language activity, Santa is going for a walk! As Santa heads to each house, the student taps “Let’s go!” (audio embedded) to help him move along his path. At every door, a knocking sound plays, and the student will open the door to reveal a friend waiting inside. The student will identify who the friend is (errorless), greet them using core vocabulary, AAC, sentence strips, or verbal responses, and then drag and drop a present for Santa to give. The friend thanks Santa before he continues to the next house. This activity is filled with interactive pieces, core embedded, and audio + visual supports to promote successful communication. You can target vocabulary, greetings, pronouns, social routines, present-giving actions, MLU expansion, and early what/who questions in a highly engaging seasonal format.
