Description
Use this winter themed, fill-in-the-blank plus drag-and-drop deck to provide your students with a fun and engaging way to practice 6-digit subtraction. This level is a bit more complex than the previous level in two ways: (a) Problems contain 6-digit instead of 5-digit numbers. (b) Since some boxes may remain empty, students must decide (without the hint of the box) whether or not any kind of regrouping is required and if it is required, whether it is required one or more times, in each column of each problem. As in previous levels, students still have the option to use the non-graded, moveable "cross-out marks" to help with regrouping. The deck contains 20 cards. The first two cards are example cards, and the remaining 18 cards are problem cards. All 18 of the problem cards are set to play in random order, each time the game is played. Written and optional audio directions are provided on each card. This deck supports the following standard: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.4.NBT.B.4 Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
