Description: This deck was created for primary students to learn about the features, animals, and plants in nine different biomes while improving their reading comprehension skills. Real photos are included to help your students with the vocabulary and concepts related to the biomes. Your students will learn about the desert, forest, rainforest, savanna, wetlands, ocean, Arctic/Antarctica, mountains, and grasslands. The Deck: - The deck is divided into sections by biome. - Each section starts with a collage of photos that go with the information slides for that biome. The students can click on the names of that biome's plants, animals, and features. - The photos are labeled. - Each biome has a slide with informational text about the biome's features and two WH- questions. - That slide is followed by a slide with information about the plants and animals that live there. There are two WH- questions on that slide as well. - Your students will respond to the questions by clicking on 1 - 3 answers. Then, they will click on the green "Submit" button. - There are drag-and-drop activities on the last six slides.
