Description
This card set works with 10 common roots: vid/vid, jur/juris, log, path, ast/astr, mit/mis, aud/audi, dic/dict, port. The first 10 cards give the root, definition, a picture to help with memory, and two examples. The next 30 cards give students practice with these roots. The cards with red borders ask students to select the root for the given meaning. The cards with the blue borders ask students to select the meaning from the given root. The cards with the yellow borders ask students to apply what they know about the roots to identify the meaning of a word. These 30 questions are presented randomly so students may repeat if needed to show mastery.
