About me: <p>Reading Specialty is a product of Diana McClain, a former teacher with experience in the elementary and secondary levels. Although she has 5 years of elementary teaching experience, most of career has been devoted to secondary students, specifically struggling readers. With over 30 years experience as a Reading Specialist, Diana has a particular interest in vocabulary, reading comprehension, and independent reading. Another area of interest is developing foundational reading skills in older beginning readers. Preschool resources have become an interest with a young grandchild!</p> <p> </p> <p>Diana has significant experience in professional development, having conducted numerous workshops for educators. She continues to update her skills, taking advantage of professional development opportunities. Diana is a Premier seller.</p>
