Description
This is a sample deck. The description below is for the full deck. The focus of this activity is to help students expand their vocabulary through their natural interest in animals. Students are directed to move the selected animal into the box representing its habitat. If a student needs a reminder, they can click the audio cue to hear the animal's name again. By clicking on different animals, students can explore and learn new names at their own pace. At the beginning stages of vocabulary acquisition, self-directed exploration is one of the most effective ways to learn new words.
