Description

Address goals for comprehension and pragmatic language with this Halloween resource. Have the student/client select a jack-o-lantern. Each jack-o-lantern is linked to a slide with wh- questions. After the student answers the questions, they must ask the same questions to another person in the group. That person then selects another jack-o-lantern from the home page, and the process repeats. The content is suitable for all ages but most relatable for late elementary, middle school, high school, and adult learners. This resource focuses on fun Halloween topics and experiences. Questions and images are not overtly scary or horror-related, making this resource suitable for most individuals who celebrate Halloween. As with any Halloween-themed activity, use discretion with students who may be sensitive to spooky themes or topics. Cartoon ghost images are included. Aligns with the following Common Core State Standar CCRA.SL.1; CCRA.SL.4; CCRA.SL.6; CCRA.L.1; CCRA.L.3.
