Description: *There is a similar free activity available in our store with the q and u in the same box because while qu does have two sounds, some prefer to put them in one box. In this activity, students will practice listening and spelling words with special letter qu. Students will listen to the words and drag and drop color tiles to represent each sound in the word. Then they will spell the letters in the appropriate Elkonin boxes for each each sound. Standards/Skills: This activity is designed to work on remedial reading skills for students with learning disabilities and/or dyslexia. It can also be used for additional practice for students learning these skills within their grade level curriculum. The design elements and graphics are intended to be received by students within a variety of grade levels and maturity levels.
