Description: Your students will see colorful winter pictures and read information about winter topics to improve their reading comprehension and fluency. They will track using reading dots under each word. Audio support and tab navigation are provided. The topics are listed below. Three - four sentences are on each slide and accompany the picture. The sentences have blends, diagraphs, CVC words, and words with suffixes -ed, -ing, and -s. How to Use: 1. Your students will listen to the directions. Then, they will listen to the text while reading during the first read. After finishing the first read, they click the box with the number 1. 2. They will read two more times independently and click boxes 2 and 3. They are encouraged to read independently but can click the speaker button if needed. 3. The students will independently listen to the question and answer choices while reading them. 4. The students will click on their answers. Three choices are provided. The topics include trees in the winter, hibernation, migration, shelter for farm animals, shelter for animals in the wild, proper clothing, the earth and sun's positions, shorter days/longer nights, sports, winter activities, and storms.
