This deck was created for students who need to practice identifying beginning blends in spoken words. Audio support and alt text are provided. The Deck: - The deck is a story about a farmer bringing kids on a hayride through his farm while finding out about the crops. - Each slide features a large picture and a word that begins with a blend. - The word is emphasized and stated after each part of the story on that slide. - The students will identify the blend. - The students will click on one of the three blends shown. Students can list words that rhyme with the blends. RF.1.2.B Orally produce single-syllable words by blending sounds (phonemes), including consonant blends.
