In this activity, students will divide compound words with closed syllables into syllables by putting each syllable in a syllable box. Standards/Skills: This activity is designed to work on remedial reading skills for students with learning disabilities and/or dyslexia. It can also be used for additional practice for students learning these skills within their grade level curriculum.
