Description: Practice main idea and key details with this Thanksgiving themed escape room. Students will read nonfiction passages that include interesting facts about turkeys. Then, students will select the main idea or answer a question about key details in the text. Can your students help Tom the turkey escape before he is eaten? There are 5 passages and 10 question clues in this deck. The passage repeats to have students answer one question about the main idea and one question about the details. Students will click on each key to access the clues. Correct answers lead to a correct card with turkey sounds. Incorrect answers will lead to a try again card. Students can cross out completed clues with draggable x's to keep track of the game. When all clues are done, students will click the "end" button to help Tom the turkey escape.
