Description

Students drag and drop the events from The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams while retelling the story using simple sentences and visuals. Ask students to write their responses and/or transcribe their story (great for language sample gathering). This product is designed to be used as a companion to the book, not as a stand-alone product. There are 3 different sequence sets, each with 3 steps. COMMON CORE W.K.3 Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to narrate a single event or several loosely linked events, tell about the events in the order in which they occurred, and provide a reaction to what happened. W.1.3 Write narratives in which they recount two or more appropriately sequenced events, include some details regarding what happened, use temporal words to signal event order, and provide some sense of closure.
