About me: <p><b>Meet Beata, a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist who has been delivering school-based services since 2013. With a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and a Master's in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin, Beata is well-equipped to help diverse populations through literacy-based intervention.</b></p> <p> </p> <p><b>In recognition of her dedication to serving multicultural communities, Beata was awarded a pre-professional training grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Her approach to analytic language therapy is truly holistic, incorporating a wide range of activities such as recast and expansion modeling, phonological awareness, comprehension, vocabulary building, writing, arts and crafts, and sensory activities. She takes a multifaceted approach to articulation and phonological therapy, utilizing techniques such as frequent and distributed practice, minimal/maximal/oppositional pairs and the complexity approach.</b></p> <p> </p> <p><b>For pragmatics, Beata encourages child-led play to promote learning for gestalt learners and autistic children. And when it comes to stuttering therapy, Beata prioritizes desensitization to help empower children who stutter.</b></p>
