Description
Your students will see colorful pictures of summer and read about summer topics. They will practice to improve their reading comprehension and fluency skills. The summer topics are listed below. Your students will use reading dots under each word to help them while they read. Audio and alt text are provided. Tab navigation is provided. There are three to four sentences on each slide to accompany the picture. The sentences have words with blends and digraphs. There are CVC words and words with suffixes -ed, -ing, and -s. How to Use: 1. Your students will listen to the directions, then listen to the text on each slide, and then click the box with number 1 after finishing the first read. 2. They will read two more times and click the boxes with the numbers 2 and 3. They are encouraged to read independently, but can click the speaker button if needed. 3. The students will listen to the question and answer choices by clicking the speaker button, or they can read them independently. 4. The students will click on their answers. Three choices are provided. The topics include crops, vacations, summer day trips, fruit blossoms, sun rays, and summer. RL.1.1 Ask and answer questions about key details in a text. RL.1.2 Retell stories, including key details, and demonstrate understanding of their central message or lesson.
