Description
This activity is designed to practice closed vs. not closed syllable types. There are audio directions to remind students of the criteria for a closed syllable. They are no prep and self-grading cards. They do require internet and a boom learning account, but can be used with a free version. There are 40 task cards and are presented in random order with only 20 displayed each time played. Students can play multiple times and receive a unique selection of cards for each time played. Students will see the word and select if the answer is "closed" or "not closed". It focuses on a component of RF.1.3, RF.2.3, RF.3.3, RF.4.3
