Description
This set of Boom Cards includes 30 digital task cards to help students deepen their understanding of basic fraction concepts related to mixed numbers and improper fractions. The first six cards review fraction terminology, and the remaining cards are skill practice problems that are presented in random order. Some problems ask students to label models of mixed numbers or improper fractions, and other cards have fraction word problems. This deck includes problems that require students to convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and vice versa. Also, students are expected to simplify any fractions that are not in lowest terms before submitting their answers. Most of the cards in this deck require students to enter the answer, but a few are multiple choice. The default setting is for a random selection of 20 cards to be shown during each round of play. If you would like to change the number of cards shown or hide some of the cards, you can change these options using the Custom Play Settings before you assign the deck to your students.
