Description: This Boom deck provides vocabulary practice for Chapters 1–10 of the novel Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. The deck covers the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English Language Arts, including: L.4.5.C: Demonstrate understanding of words by relating them to their opposites (antonyms) and to words with similar but not identical meanings (synonyms).
