Description: Your students will practice sequencing pictures related to short stories to improve reading comprehension while using time-order words. The students can click on the speaker buttons to listen while reading along. After reading, they will move the four pictures of each winter activity to the four boxes to show the order of the story. Audio support and alt text are provided. USE: - The first card has AUDIO directions. The students will follow the following steps : 1. Click the blue speaker buttons to listen to the short story while reading. 2. The time order words "First," "Next," "Then," and "Last" are all in red print to help students identify the story order. 3. The students will drag each of the four pictures to boxes 1, 2, 3, and 4. 4. On the following slide, the students will use the same story to identify the picture that is before or after the activity stated. They will drag it to a box to complete a winter scene. RL.1.2 Retell stories, including key details, and demonstrate understanding of their central message or lesson.
