Retell Enjoy this Story Grammar Marker® deck that is accessible for students with visual and hearing impairment. This deck is at the complete episode level. 'Lunch Monitoring'-story 2 from series 1, that is officially approved and endorsed by Mindwing Concepts, Inc., creator of the Story Grammar Marker® approach. This deck is meant to be used as a companion tool to be used with the Story Grammar Marker® approach. It contains the Story Grammar Marker® icons (character, setting, kickoff, feeling, plan, attempts, tie-up, resolution) and can be used for teaching story grammar elements in an explicit way. It would be appropriate for the whole classroom, group, and individual lessons. Skills such as sequencing, understanding/expressing story grammar elements, use of cohesive ties (i.e., temporal, causal), feeling words, thinking/planning verbs, perspective taking, story comprehension and story retelling can be focused on. You will also find a demonstration video for retelling the complete episode with the story grammar marker (i.e. story braid) as well.
