Description
This deck is created to target phonemic and phonological awareness as well as phonemic manipulation using semantic cues. It targets several speech and language goal simultaneously in a fun, game-like manner. The students who will benefit from this the most are the ones who already know their letters and the sounds they make. It taps into higher order thinking skills and metacognition by making them think about the right answer based on the semantic clue given. The students are required to change one letter in each word and type their answers down in the box provided to add an extra layer of complexity for them to navigate through.
