Description: Use this apple tree house themed, drag-and-drop, online activity to provide your students with a fun way to practice 2-digit times 2-digit multiplication (with regrouping) using the standard algorithm. The deck contains 24 cards presented in random order. How to Play: For each card, drag and drop the numbered apples and the tools in the sign that the animal is holding onto the blank apples to solve the problem. About the Tools: 1. If one or two small green ones appear in the sign that the animal is holding, that one or those ones should be dragged and dropped into the green bordered box or boxes when adding. 2. The X in the animal's sign should be dragged and dropped on top of the first number that was carried into the tens column. This should be done either immediately after the first row of multiplication has been completed or after the zero has been placed into the blank apple in the ones column of the second row of addition. Any tools appearing in the animal's sign must be correctly placed along with the numbered apples in order to correctly solve the problem.
