Description: This interactive Boom Cards Bingo game helps students learn and practise collective nouns through picture-word matching and full-board engagement. The deck begins with two child-friendly teaching slides that clearly explain what a collective noun is, using simple language and visual support. On these slides, students can tap each picture to reveal the collective noun that names the group shown. This helps them familiarise themselves with the vocabulary before beginning the game. After the introduction, students play a digital Bingo-style game across six interactive slides. The goal is to cover every space on the Bingo board by correctly matching collective nouns to the right pictures — and vice versa. The game alternates between two task types: Bingo Cards 1, 3, and 5: Students are shown a collective noun (e.g. a herd of) and must drag the correct picture onto the Bingo board. Bingo Cards 2, 4, and 6: Students are shown a picture of a group (e.g. lions, grapes, bees) and must drag the correct collective noun onto the Bingo board. Each dragable card fills one square of the Bingo board. Students must complete all six slides to fill the board and finish the activity. The deck is self-checking, easy to navigate, and perfect for use in literacy centres, grammar stations, independent practice, or revision. 👩🏫 Collective Nouns Taught and Practised: Animals: a colony of ants a flock of birds a flock of sheep a herd of cattle a litter of kittens a pack of wolves a parliame
