Basic Concepts: Negation Intervention Assessment for pre- and post-testing is what you need to assess your students before they begin working on negation. It will give you a baseline for determining a student's IEP goal. You'll also learn which areas in particular your student has difficulty. For example, your student may understand negation with nouns but not with verbs, or they may find negation from a field of 2 easier than from a field of 3. After you've worked on negation and feel your student has made sufficient progress, use this deck again as a post-test to determine mastery. Based on the post-test results, you can tell if your students have generalized negation beyond the other activities they have used to learn the concept. The images are all clipart and different from the images used in my Basic Concepts Negation Levels 1 - 4. There are also no prompts or cues provided in this deck.
