This interactive speech and language activity targets action verbs, pronouns, and simple sentence formation using a motivating kick the soccer ball routine. Students begin with a “Let’s Kick!” page featuring an animated GIF of a child kicking a soccer ball. The student then drags the soccer ball to kick it, revealing a hidden animated action GIF underneath. After revealing the action, students practice: • Saying the target verb • Formulating a sentence using visual supports • Answering a Who question with two animated choices Audio and visual supports are embedded throughout the activity to support independence and participation. Because of the simple and predictable routine, this activity can be used in many ways to target expressive and receptive language goals.
